SB 260 Signed Into Law, MOU Reached: A New Chapter for Madison County
Following months of negotiation and collaboration, SB 260 has officially been signed into law and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed, creating a clear and stable path forward for both the Madison Valley and Big Sky communities. The legislation is the result of a historic agreement between MVHD and the Big Sky Resort Area District, ensuring continued healthcare funding during a multi-year transition.
This is a win for the entire county—preserving critical healthcare funding, ending costly legal disputes, and allowing us to refocus on what matters most: delivering excellent patient care.
